Extract of Lagerstroemia speciosa L.

Lagerstroemia speciosa L. from the banaba tree is a tropical plant from the cat tail family.  The plant grows in the Philippines and can grow as high as 20 metres.  The leaves are traditionally used to make tea, they include corosolic acid, an important substance from the banaba tree.  The banaba extract in Glucofit is standardized to 18% corosolic acid.  Glucofit contains 480mcg of corosolic acid per softgel. 

Studies have shown that the extracts of banaba leaves help support healthy glucose metabolism.  The different components responsible for this include corosolic acid and gallotannins.

Suggested use:  one capsule three times daily after a meal. 

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Ingredients: Bulking agent (rice bran oil), Stabilizer (gelatin, glycerin, purified water), extract of Lagerstroemia speciosa (2,67 mg) with min. 18% corosolic acid, Flavor (carob extract), Color (yellow beeswax, titanium dioxide, Anti-caking agent (silica).
